MEET THE BAND

About

Whisky Six is one of South Florida's favorite local country bands! Their modern music selections are engaging and fun. While they play mostly modern country don't be surprised to hear some Cash, Strait, Yokham or other classics thrown in. You don't have to be a redneck or hillbilly to appreciate these guys....but it helps!

Fun-loving, polite and social are just a few words used to describe these guys. Be sure to catch one of their shows or contact them for your next private event!

John-Paul Begley "JP" ~ Vocalist/Front-Man

JP is a country singer rooted in the deep backroads of Kentucky and Tennessee, with stories shaped by places like John Fork Road, Buckhorn Lake and the kinfolk who live there. Drawing inspirations grom legends such as, George Strait and Johnny Cash, and the modern high energy of Luke Bryan, JP blends traditional country soul with today's story telling sound.

His delivery is honest, grounded and driven by a lifelong passion of singing. For JP, country music isn't just a genre...

it is the dream, the road, and the truth told through melody.

Every song performed reflects real life, hard work, LOVE, and the simple moments that matter the most. "Smile Always"

"Rockin" Ron Pitkin ~ Lead Guitar

Ron has been playing guitar since he was knee high to a June bug.  Ron started in the garden state and was originally influenced by artists such as The Boss - Bruce Springsteen.  He has since moved to South Florida some years ago and as they say... He's "Gone Country"!!   You'll now hear his country influence on the stage leading The Whisky Six Band as hes often told his sound is similar to Jason Aldean's guitarist Kurt Allison. Rockin Ron completely rocks the stage and brings total love and passion for music to every single venue we play.
